We had dinner at California's Pizza Kitchen.

Had a simple celebration for our 3rd year anniversary.

Headed to Brio's for buffet!

Quite like the spread there.

Oysters and seafood were good (according to baby),
And i personally love the sashimi!

Scallops were pretty decent too.

And since i started my mini dieting,
i havent had deserts for a while,

So i totally indulged that day!

Baby kept taking candid shots of mi!

The Ice cream wasnt that fantastic.

Giving in to my sweet tooth!

Chocolates are totally my Achilles heel.

We headed to the outdoor area to have tea.

So we chose the shortest queue

at this teppanyaki restaurant.

I thought we were having the traditional teppanyaki,
but not in this case.

I have this urge to watch the movie

'Closer', again.

One of the best movies i've ever caught,
that took my heart away.

Trip wif baby and his family/relatives!

After the picnic from the prev entry,
Baby and i rushed home to wash up and pack our stuffs.

Totally didn't sleep and went to catch our bus.

It was madness!

Me: ' Eh! We havent go to that shop yet! Lets go! :D'

whenever i step into a new shop,
LOL.

Shopped the whole freaking day,
And then headed back up to Genting again.

Both of us KO-ed on the bus once the driver started driving.

Love my baby for being the best shopping companion,

Back at Genting,
Ah yam was enjoying his fun rides.

The thing was moving and i couldn't capture properly!

Headed back to hotel,
Slept for only a few hours again,

And headed to the casino.

he won a one number wonder,

number 16!

And it was a 1 Win 30 thing!

So exciting,
never won this much before.

Went to dig thru my photos,
And realised 16 is his jersey number!!

No wonder!

And i could finally breathe properly again.

Had asthma everyday there.

A week later,
it was my mum's birthday!

Camwhored at Smelly's while
waiting for him.

That was the very same day we almost got into an accident.

Totally swerve right and left,

Freaking scary.

Met my parents at merchant court for buffet.

The durian puri was yummy!
Apart from that everything else was jus average.

The waiter obviously has not much skills.

Sis then started insisting that everybody camwhores wif her

So... its been nearly two weeks
since baby has enlisted.

I stayed wif him for about a mth
before he enlisted,

So separation was harder for us.

The first few days were hell.

I jus didn't have any mood or appetite to eat anything,
Tearing at the sight of his things.

930pm would be the happiest time of my day,
Cus that would be the time he calls.

But as the week wore on,
And i started getting busy wif my stuff;

Going out alone,
It didn't seem that bad anymore.

I started loving taking the bus,
Cus it kills time alot faster,

And before i know it another day have passed.

I knw baby is having a harder time inside,
As he sounds jaded everytime he calls.

And also the fact that he got really really cranky

When i told him i wanted to go to
a wedding after-party.

I hope he appreciates my effort.
It wasn't easy.

Two more days and he's gonna book out.

I miss him so much i'm behaving weirdly
these few days.

Rollercoaster day, literally.

Yes,
about the worst vertigo attack i've ever had.

Vertigo = Spinning sensation; giddiness.

Its not the first time it happened,
But this time it lasted for a really long time.

I couldn't walk or even sit up.
And my stomach hurt a little.

Imagine your vision spinning 360deg in front of you for hours.
I almost puked a few times.

And hell, i wasn't even on alcohol!

At first i thought i was gonna blackout,
So i chewed on a panadol. (Yes, chew)

It didn't get better so i knew i needed vertigo pills,
WHICH, i stupidly left at home.

I was at baby's and he drove
to my house (which is a only a few bus stops away)
to get it for mi.

Thank you Gek for chatting wif mi while he was away.
Im sorry i woke u up at 6AM!

Honestly, after the pills i didnt get much better,
So i decided to sleep.

And i realised,
I feel fucking giddy even when lying down.

I had to put a bolster on top of two pillows,
and tilt my head to stop the spinning.

Baby slept beside mi in the same awkward manner,
So i could fall asleep.

Woke up a few hours later to visit the toilet,
And damn, it was still spinning!

I woke up again in the eve feeling better though
the surroundings still shake a lil.

And now at 9:17pm, aft another pill,
I am feeling okay & wondering the cause of it;

Ear imbalance/infection?
PMS/Female probs?
Neuro?

Shall visit a doc soon.

Ironically,
before everything happened,
I was having a great day.

Passed my basicT,

Went shopping wif Baby,

Jul treated us to dinner,

And had mj wif Zh & Tiff.

I shouldnt have fagged so much during the MJ session.
I suspected it might have caused it

And i'm sorry i troubled baby so much.

Had him rushing to and fro,
fetching mi water, pills, milo.

He even had to support mi to the toilet,
And i know he was very, very sleepy already.

He asked mi a question jus now,

"I go NS already, you how?"

Headed to marina barrage for a picnic
early June.

We bought too much junk food!

I'm finally back to blog wif peektures!

This is super overdued,
Genting trip in March!

Day 1

I had really bad insonmia.
Only slept for an hour.
:(

So i cooked breakfast for us.

I knw it looks horrible,
I can't really cook.

And the bread i made for baby is slightly burnt.
-.-

Down to Golden Mile,

And off we go!

The guys slept like pigs;
I couldnt sleep at all despite feeling real tired.

Bummer.

The usual stop-over, Yong Peng,
Where the gigantic monster fish resides.

It taste pretty bad.

Jul misses SG Food already.

After what seemed like thousands of hours

And gazillion turns and corners,

We finally got there.
I've never felt happier seeing this building.

I officially hate long bus journeys.

The love for leather and shades.

There was a long queue to check in,
So we had food first.

Which tasted crappy.

Goofing around wif the weighing machine.

Got our room shortly!

Connecting room;
Jul's on the left.

I took a power nap of 2 hours
before we headed out again.

Settled dinner afterwards.

I am still tryin to recall why my face was so pink.

We had thai food!
Which was prolly the best meal at genting.

We went to the Lotte World (i think) Casino
after that.

This is really embarrassing,

but it was my first time ever to a casino,
cus i was underaged for all my previous trips.

I was really shocked to see elderly people,
who needed the aid of a walking stick,

betting money like nobody's biz.

We left the casino aft playing jus abit,
And i couldn't sleep cus i was sick and it was too cold.

Baby accompanied mi to buy milo and food,
And i was shivering thruout the whole journey.

I had wanton noodles (not nice)

Day 2

Our day started with sucky buffet breakfast.

Now i know why its complimentary.

I think baby have this thing for waffles.
He bought waffles everywhere he went,

Took a bus down to KL!

And then msia's MRT!

I kinda miss the ol' school mrt card.

Headed to Sungei Wang,
And shop and shop and shop..

Getting married..Not.

And then it was time for FOOD.

This cute lil cafe serves decent food
(so much better than genting!)

We didn't stay at the shopping centres till too late though;
Took a bus back up to Genting.

The sight of stars on the way back
was so gorgeous,

if only i could take a pic.

It was hell freezing cold wen we got back!
We were in our berms!

Dinner, as usual,
was settled at some exp but non tasty cafe.

They have cute cutlery though,
square spoons.

Julian,

And i was goofing around wif his geeky specs.

We headed to casino that night again
and i find gambling really stressful, lol.

The amount of old grannys there still astonishes mi.

Day 3

As most of my frens would know,
I am not a fan of theme parks,

So i was more than happy to sleep in
when the guys headed there in the morning.

Our crazy fren.

We still had time to spare,
So we goofed around at Mac while waiting for our bus.

Our bus was like uber late,
for at least a couple of hours!

By the time we got back to SG,
it was already near midnight!

We were starving!

Happy to be home.

I've sent my grandma on her last journey on sat.

for offering to come down and pay respects.

My sis and i were closer to our other grandma,
But that doesn't mean this grandma did not dote on us.

And i only realised this,
After she has left us.

I'm sorry for alot of things i did not do,

For she is already gone.

People don't realise what they've got till it's gone.

My granny just passed away this morn.

It's the second time in my life
i've seen my mum sobbing uncontrollably.

Seeing that made mi really upset.

I didn't know what to say or do,
So i jus sat beside her quietly.

Everything doesn't seem to be gg well lately.

Mum just got admitted and discharged last week,
and now this.

A few days ago i was fighting against time to study;

Today,
I lost all the mood and drive.

I only slept 3.5 hours today,

And i spent the whole afternoon trying to sleep
which i suddenly realised is a freaking waste of time.

Shit always happens before my papers.

I'm feeling really lost right now.

The battle is already half lost.

Today is the third day
in two weeks my mum has been to the hospital.

Baby and i took turns wif my sis & dad just
two days ago, on sat, for six hours each.

All the blood tests and xrays came out fine,
she doesn't have to be warded then,

But she still look pretty pale and haggard.

I'm guessing anxiety, that's in our genes.

She have to be admitted for observation this time round,

And i'm starting to stress out
cus exams are like less than 2 weeks time,

And i'm still a lost sheep.

Why do things like that always happen before my papers.

Desiree hon & i met up to do something for Janelle.

We met up on two different days,
And spent many many hours to complete everything.

It was tiring,
but the end result gave both of us a sense of achievement:

On the actual day,
Hon and i did the pictures collage till morn,
And i only managed to sleep at 9am.

Baby and i headed to cine to meet HK, Amelyne & co. for a movie.

I rem catching part 1 or 2,
And am not a fanatic of the show.

Part 3 works the same for mi.

Just a very average show imho.

CNY was a fab week for mi and baby.

As baby's whole family were overseas,

I stayed at his place for the whole week.

It was sweet and fun,

When we went visiting together,
Or had friends coming over for mj,

But i also had the 'honour' of doing his projects together wif him

I have been MIA-ing from my phone during CNY

cus i just silent it, chunk it aside and
check it only at the end of the day.

I have been out so much during that period,

All i wana do when i'm at baby's home
is to have some quality time with baby or myself,

I had nowhere to go but home even though i din feel like it

cus i realised i have MIA-ed too much.

This taught mi a lesson to not let my life revolve around

Last day of the year,

I was supposed to meet Des and Jan for some

I know it is so passe to be talking about twilight,
but i shall do it anyway.

I caught the movie alot later than others,
in fact when it was about to cease airing.

Fans of the book would agree with me that
the movie totally sucked.

1) Why does the scenes look like some cheap production film?

2) Bella can't act for nuts.

(Esp the forest part when she said "I'm not scared."
But she looked like she was gonna comatose from fear!)

3) Edward Cullen is not as beautiful as described in e book.

He's hot, but not THAT hot, imho.
I think his acting is alot better though.

4) The Cullen family have perfect, flawless, unbelievable beauty.

Rosalie...beautiful? seriously?

5) Impact

The baseball scene was sucha let down.
Expected more WOW effects.
